The Control Shield GEN II length is 2.310” from front to back.

The back extends .100” rearward or behind the back of the brake when installed.

1.310" OD at the back end moving forward .170”, then it bells out to an overall of 1.480" OD at the middle.

A: The new Control Shield GEN II is only compatible with our new Slipstream muzzle brakes.

The original Control Shield GEN I is compatible with our Control Series and RED MOD 2 muzzle brakes.
