Camber AR15 Rail System - 9.6" - Carbine Cutout MLOK

Question

Q: Hello, I have a new Camber rail, carbine cutout handguard. Model number: 556-CAM-096-ML-FSB. Is this item meant to work with a FSB with a bayonet lug? It seems, I'm not able to slide the FSB rearward enough because the bayonet lug is bumping into the lower front edge of the handguard. And this is preventing the front sight base from returning to its home position. Any information you have would be greatly appreciated. Please let me know, thanks

Q: How much of the Handguard is cut out? Looks about 2 inches or so...?

Q: Hi I’m trying to figure out the top of the rails length (556-CAM-096-ML-FSB). I have a Noveske Switchblock 10.5 barrel and it would require the top rail of the handguard to be no longer than 7in. Thanks

You may have missed the info on the product landing page, but you do have to remove the bayonet lug. Hope that's not too big of an issue for you. There's a ton of information out there on how to do that or taking it to a gunsmith might be an option for you.

A: The top of the rail length is approx 7.31".
