Question

Q: Will this mate to AR10 builds? If not will you or plan on making these rails for AR10 platforms? I would love an opened up rail for a piston system or adjustable gas block that I can reach without long tools.

Q: I'm looking for a rail for mid-length gas system with an A2 FSP. Will your Camber™ AR15 Rail System - 11.8" - Mid Cutout MLOK work? Have you seen this before? How would I install it? Would I have to install the rail first, and then install the FSP? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Q: i'm looking for a 'unique' setup, and this handguard would fit the bill! couple questions i have, is the adjustable gas system i'm looking at has a STRAIGHT gas tube. would this handguard still give the gas tube clearance, and would the entire gas block be exposed with the cut out to allow me instant access to the adjustment towards the muzzle of the gas block? I'm looking to use a POF Dictator gas system in mid-length. thank you for your time!

Q: I have a basic Springfield Armory Saint with the polymer hand guard and a fixed A2 sight post. It is a mid length. I’m looking for a hand guard that will get rid of the stock one in favor of a free floated hand guard that will fit around the sides and maybe even the front of the A2 post. Would love ideas.

This is for AR15 only. We are looking at up scaling this for AR10 but that will be down the road.

Yes. The 11.8" Mid Cutout will work with a mid length A2 FSP.

For install you would need to install the handgaurd first, modify your fsb by cutting off sling swivel and bayonet lug then punch pins in.

There is plenty of clearance for a straight gas tube. You should be gtg.

Donald,

No need to support the FSB. Once you drive in the pins they should auto center. Just make sure to keep the pins in the original spots. I would use a block to support the end of the barrel as close to the end of the handguard as possible and one for the upper.

You really have a ton of options. Once. you decide to get ride of for your FSB, then you're able to remove the existing rail and get any length you want. You'll need to replace the FSB with a low profile gas block that would fit inside the rail, but you can really pick and choose the length. In your application, anything over 10" is probably the most popular choice among people.

Yes, it will fit, but you may have some issues with the set screws touching the handguard if you don't dimple your barrel. Also, b/c of the diameter of the barrel and gas block, you may experience your gas block touching your handguard due to barrel whip.
